Let’s Sketch Downtown Brea and the Brea Holiday Car Show!
Sunday, December 7th, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
10:00 am - Meet us on the patio of Bruxie Restaurant (see map:
https://www.bruxie.com/store-locator/) located at 215 W. Birch in Brea, California.
10:00 am until 12:30 pm - Sketch whimsical buildings (1990s eclectic architectural style), gigantic Christmas bulbs, topiary reindeer, and a HUGE Christmas Tree! If that’s not enough, there will also be a CLASSIC car show happening!
12:30 pm - Gather to share our work, make introductions/announcements and take a group photo. (Location to be determined the day of event)

About: Brea Downtown is a lively, pedestrian-friendly area that successfully blends a quaint Main Street feel with modern entertainment options. It's often busy, especially on weekend evenings, and serves as a major social hub for North Orange County

All are welcome whether beginner or seasoned pro. Bring your favorite sketching media, an easel if desired (up to you) and maybe a folding chair or stool if you need to sit. There are benches, cafe tables and concrete stairs where you may sit - but it most likely will be crowded. If you’re new to sketching, your equipment can be as simple as a pencil and a sketchbook! Food and beverages are readily available.
