Join us for a morning of service, connection, and donuts! 🍩
Vital Roots Foundation is proud to steward a stretch of the Brea Channel through the Adopt-A-Channel program. This fall, we’re teaming up with Brea American Legion Post 181 for a 2-hour cleanup of our channel section at Arovista Park.
This isn’t just about picking up trash — it’s about veterans continuing to serve after service, building fellowship, and keeping our city beautiful.
We’re especially looking to connect with local veterans in the Brea area who want to give back, meet fellow vets, and be part of something meaningful.
✅ What to Bring / Wear
Closed-toe shoes (required for safety)
Work gloves (bring your own)
Hat + sunscreen for sun protection
Reusable water bottle or your own drink (hydration is your responsibility)
Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
🅿️ Parking
Free parking at Arovista Park
Overflow parking available across Imperial Highway (map link provided in event page)
Donuts provided after cleanup 🍩 (coffee/other drinks are on your own).
