Spring Semester Student Showcase 2025

On Sunday, May 4, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, the Vermont Jazz Center (VJC) will present its end-of-semester Student
Showcase. Throughout the afternoon, nine ensembles will each perform half-hour sets from the culmination of three
months of dedicated work on a wide variety of repertoire. Audiences will enjoy a mix of musicians performing jazz
standards, Latin jazz, samba percussion, jazz vocals, guitar-based arrangements, horn sections, and swinging tunes from
the Blue Note era.
This event is free and open to the public. A suggested donation of $5 will support the VJC's scholarship fund, which
awards over $17,000 annually to help make jazz education accessible to all.
