"VLADO VIZÁR - REVIVAL & TRADITIONAL JAZZ BAND ®" - v skratke: "R&T BAND". Hráči tohoto orchestra hrali v 22 krajinách sveta od Nórska po Tunis a od Moskvy po Kaliforniu a aj na spoločných pódiách s takými menami jako sú Benny Goodman, Stan Getz, Anita O´Day, Lionel Hampton, Acker Bilk, Chris Barber, Albert Nicholas, Max Greger a.i. R&T BAND má v repertoári svetové hity tradičného jazzu a swingu, ale aj vlastné skladby a úpravy. R&T BAND spolupracuje so špičkovými domácimi aj zahraničnými speváckymi osobnosťami a sólistami.

The top Slovak traditional jazz and swing orchestra the "REVIVAL & TRADITIONAL BAND", or "R&T BAND", is famous not only within its native country, but also abroad and is acknowledged as one the best in Europe. Its long history goes back 50 years to 1961, when in Bratislava the "TRADITIONAL CLUB" was formed, followed a year later by the "REVIVAL JAZZ BAND". The soloists of the two top music bodies progressively gathered into the "TRADITIONAL & REVIVAL BAND" in 1985. The name of the orchestra has changed to: "VV - REVIVAL & TRADITIONAL JAZZ BAND ®" - shortly "R&T BAND" since 1.1.2006. The muscians of the band have played to 22 countries from Norway to Tunisia and from Moscow to California and have performed on the stage alongside such world-renowned jazzmen as Benny Goodman, Stan Getz, Anita O´Day, Lionel Hampton, Mr.Acker Bilk, Chris Barber, Albert Nicholas, Max Greger and many others. The programme of the R&T BAND comprises a mixture of old and famous traditional jazz and swing hits and new arrangements.The R&T BAND cooperats with top jazzsingers and soloists.
