Inšpirácie čerpajú z prírody a od ľudí s ktorými sa na svojich cestách stretávajú. Poslucháčov vťahujú na hlbokú cestu ich vlastným vnútorným a vonkajším svetom. Melódie a zvuky kopírujú melódie a zvuky samotnej Zeme, hlasy povzbudzujú a upokojujú bunky a texty vyvolávajú myšlienky a úvahy.
Hudba Curawaka je vo svojom jadre odpoveďou na volanie zdieľať skutočné a divoké, pravdivé a posvätné. Zapojením mnohých nástrojov na pódiu, vrátane fláut, gitár, charanga, perkusií a ďalších, je ich schopnosť replikovať zvuky čistej sily prírody a tlkot srdca Zeme naozaj fascinujúca. Curawaka prispievajú svojou hudbou k veľkému posunu, ktorý v týchto časoch žijeme.
Národnosti skupiny, ktorú tvoria Anna Bariyani, Tavo Vazquez, Alberto Arroyo a Dario Santamaria Romero, zahŕňajú Nórsko, Argentínu a Mexiko. Bohatá hudobná kultúra každého z ich dedičstva jasne žiari vo všetkých piesňach, ktoré hrajú a tvoria. Každý z nich strávil dlhé obdobia sedením medzi a učením sa od múdrych domorodých starších v džungli a lesoch sveta. Ich hudba preto ponúka interpretáciu posvätných spevov a piesní zdieľaných s požehnaním národov, ktoré si uctievajú, spolu s originálnou hudbou vytvorenou na počesť Matky Zem a ukotvenie a sprevádzanie jej ľudu naprieč ich životom.
Ich album Call of the Wild z roku 2018 obsahuje obľúbené piesne ako Noku Mana a Te Nande, ktoré si získali obrovský ohlas a sú stálou hudobnou prítomnosťou v životoch nespočetného množstva ľudí. Založenie aliančného fondu Curawaka v súčasnosti smeruje zisky späť do domorodých projektov spojených s prvkami tejto hudby. V roku 2023 Curawaka vydala svoj neuveriteľný druhý album Dreamtime, hudobnú cestu, ktorá prešla niekoľkými jazykmi a čerpala z individuálnych vplyvov jednotlivých členov skupiny. Album ukazuje bohatosť talentu a vášne každého člena, pričom všetkých desať hlboko sugestívnych piesní vyvoláva introspekciu a vždy privedie poslucháča späť k jeho ľudskosti a vnútornému svetlu.

Curawaka in Bratislava
When the sound of the Earth's heartbeat is a mesmerizing experience when played. When a concert turns into a ceremony. They play a three-hour musical ceremony with the deepest integrity and heart's desire for humanity to rise rooted. To sing and dance in the highest truth and leave the space inspired, empowered and fully alive. The Curawaka band will visit Slovakia for the first time as part of their European tour “Roots & Horizons”

They will offer an unforgettable concert experience that combines elements of indigenous traditions, Latin American folk and soaring Scandinavian melodies. They draw inspiration from nature and the people they meet on their journeys. They take listeners on a profound journey through their own inner and outer worlds. The melodies and sounds replicate those of the Earth itself, the voices encourage and soothe the cells, and the lyrics provoke thought and reflection.
Curawaka’s music is, at its core, an answer to the call to share the real and the wild, the true and the sacred. By incorporating a variety of instruments on stage, including flutes, guitars, charanga, percussion and more, their ability to replicate the sounds of the pure power of nature and the heartbeat of the Earth is truly mesmerizing. Curawaka contribute their music to the great shift we are experiencing in these times.
The group’s nationalities, which include Anna Bariyani, Tavo Vazquez, Alberto Arroyo and Dario Santamaria Romero, include Norway, Argentina and Mexico. The rich musical culture of each of their heritages shines through in all the songs they play and create. Each has spent long periods sitting among and learning from wise indigenous elders in the jungles and forests of the world. Their music therefore offers interpretations of sacred chants and songs shared with the blessing of the peoples they worship, along with original music created to honor Mother Earth and anchor and guide her people through their lives.
Their 2018 album Call of the Wild features beloved songs like Noku Mana and Te Nande, which have garnered huge acclaim and are a constant musical presence in the lives of countless people. The Curawaka Alliance Fund is currently channeling profits back into indigenous projects connected to elements of this music. In 2023, Curawaka released their incredible second album Dreamtime, a musical journey that spans multiple languages and draws on the individual influences of each band member. The album showcases the richness of each member's talent and passion, with all ten deeply evocative songs evoking introspection and always bringing the listener back to their humanity and inner light.
