„Begone Estrone“ je výstava prepájajúca prácu dvoch umelkýň, Pauly Gogoly a Natálie Sýkorovej. Ich diela spája záujem o vzťahy osobnej identity a technologických krajín, v ktorých poli sa pohybujú ženské telá, pričom tieto témy skúmajú z pohľadu ženského zdravia a starostlivosti. Výstava prepája individuálne kritické prístupy autoriek do precízne vybudovaného inštalačného prostredia aktivovaného prostredníctvom architektonických zásahov Adama Rýznara a zvukových kompozícií Johannesa Tröstlera.
Jadrom výstavy je skúmanie kúpeľne ako heterotopického priestoru, miesta, kde sa miesi verejné a súkromné, rituálne a všedné, čistota a kontaminácia. Umelkyne kolektívne transformujú toto banálne, často prehliadané miesto na komplexnú topografiu moci, identity a prežitia. Prezentované simulakrum tu funguje ako kritická reartikulácia priestoru – taká, ktorá vyzdvihuje spoločensko-politické úzkosti zakorenené v jeho samotnej materialite. Kúpeľňa, nanovo predstavená ako miesto liminality, stelesňuje napätie medzi svätyňou a priestorom hlbokej zraniteľnosti. Kúpeľňa sa tu stáva javiskom pre naratív plný napätia, kde sa rituály, anjeli, injekcie estrogénu, alchýmia a úpadok urbánnych prostredí a ich estetiky stávajú silným symbolom širších spoločenských problémov, najmä tých, ktoré sa týkajú rodu, identity a tela.
Súčasťou vernisáže bude performance. Performerstvo: Teuta Jonuzi, Exegesis, Sam Novak.
Z verejných zdrojov formou štipendia podporil Fond na podporu umenia.

‘Begone Estrone’ is a collaborative exhibition that brings together practices of two artists Paula Gogola and Natália Sýkorová, whose work intersects at the convergence of personal identity, technological landscapes of female bodies, both of which they explore through the perspective of female health and care. The exhibition coalesces their individual critical practices into a meticulously constructed environment activated through Adam Rýznar’s exhibition design and Johannes Tröstler’s sound compositions.
At the core of this exhibition is an inquiry into the bathroom as a heterotopic space, a site where the intersection of public and private, the ritual and the mundane, purity and contamination. The artists collectively transform this banal, often overlooked site into a complex topography of power, identity, and survival. The simulacrum presented here functions as a critical rearticulation of the space—one that foregrounds the socio-political anxieties embedded within its very materiality. The bathroom, reimagined as a site of liminality, encapsulates the tension between a sanctuary and a space of profound vulnerability. Here, the bathroom becomes a stage for a tension-filled narrative, where ritual, angels, estrogen injections, alchemy, urban decay and their aesthetic become a potent symbol of broader societal issues, particularly those surrounding gender, identity, and the body.
