Mushroom Inoculation Workshop

CCFA is partnering with Appalachian Cultivation to host a shiitake mushroom workshop at the Tim Ryan Community Garden in Brasstown, NC.

Time and Date: March 20 from 10a-2p in front of Pine Needles and Things in Brasstown.

Registration is free (a donation of $10-$35 is recommended) and attendees will need to bring 2-4 fresh oak or maple logs that are 3-4 ft long and 5-8 inches wide. Logs should have been cut within 1-3 months. You’ll take half of your inoculated logs home with you and leave half for the CCFA garden.
