Our very first Fortitude for the Family is coming up at the end of this month on August 30 from 2-4pm. This is for BOYS AND GIRLS ages 7-13!!
Preregistration price is only $25/family member so sign up now to save your spot before prices go up. In this class, parents and kids will join together and learn vital information and skills, including:
-Prevention through good situational awareness, eye contact, confidence and voice
-Hands on learning to defend against common altercations kids find themselves in
-How to take down a bully to avoid getting hurt
-Family Safety Tips for parents and kids
-How to spot red flags/tricky people and what to do
Then Coach Sean will lead game time with the kids while I talk with the parents about some harder truths and what you can do as a parent to keep the kids in your life safe, including:
-Phone and online safety & dangerous trends to look out for
-Rising depression & anxiety in kids and what you can do about it
-Recommendations and Resources to help you take action
I am a mom of four, and yes, these are things I am teaching my own kids! They will be there learning right along with your kids and even helping out in the class! I’m so excited I get the opportunity to include them in this with you and your family.
