The City of Brantford is excited to announce the first annual Brantford Beats & Eats, an exciting summer festival happening at several locations in Brantford on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Join us for a full day of free live music, art, and entertainment in the heart of Brantford:

🛍️ 15+ artisans and vendors
🎨 Live demonstrations from artists and muralists
🤸 Aerial hoop performance
🌮 Food trucks
⚽ High-energy soccer freestyle competition
👪 Mayor's Family Fun Zone at Mohawk Park (10am-2pm)
Legendary local entertainer, Q-Mack, from Six Nations of the Grand River, will emcee the downtown event. Q-Mack has hosted numerous NBA events over the last 22 years, including the NBA All Star Weekend.
The Mayor’s Family Fun Zone in Mohawk Park will offer free family-friendly entertainment, live music and more from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On Saturday evening, one of Canada’s top country bands, The Washboard Union, will take the stage at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts. The band, which is composed of stepbrothers Aaron Grain, Chris Duncombe, and their best friend David John Roberts, are known for their signature vocal harmonies, and dynamic live performances. Sully Burrows, a rising talent in the world of country music, will be opening for the band.
