Week four of The Branson Dragon’s eight week Tarkir: Dragonstorm Precon league is on May 7th. This league will conclude on June 4. Friends, old and new, are invited to pick a Tarkir clan to align themselves with during our Tarkir: Dragonstorm Precon League. You can join anytime!
Rules:
Each player will use a Tarkir: Dragonstorm preconstructed deck that they can purchase from The Branson Dragon or bring one you purchased to use during the league. The two-card collector pack that comes with the deck can be used to update the deck as long as it is opened at the Branson Dragon Game Store.
Each week, participants will have the option to purchase two MTG play boosters or one collector pack of their choice to upgrade their deck. Purchasing additional packs to upgrade your deck is not required, but that is the only way to upgrade your deck during this league. These packs must be opened in-store with other players to ensure fairness. If you open a card you already own, but it's a different print (borderless, foil, etc), you may use the print of your choice.
Each night will have two rounds of commander, with rounds being 90 minutes. Once time is called, there will be a full rotation for players. If no winner is declared, it will be a tie.
One time League Entry Fee: $10
Weekly promo cards distributed based upon participation.
Prizes at the end of the league based upon participation:
4-6: First place gets 4 packs and Second place gets 2 packs, and Third place gets 1 pack
8-12: First place gets 7 packs, Second place gets 4 packs, and Third place gets 2 pack
12-16: First place gets 10 packs, Second place gets 6 packs, and Third place gets 4 packs
If there are 16 or more participants the top player will split as a box.
