The labor movement gave us the 40-hour workweek, minimum wage, overtime pay, workers’ compensation, collective bargaining rights—and so much more. Every one of these victories was won through hard-fought organizing. Many even gave their lives in the struggle.

That legacy is worth celebrating—and defending.
