Exodus 28:6–13

6 g“And they shall make the ephod ofgold, of blue and purple and scarletyarns, and of fine twined linen,skillfully worked. 7 It shall have twoshoulder pieces attached to its twoedges, so that it may be joined together.8 And the hskillfully woven band on itshall be made like it and be of one piecewith it, of gold, blue and purple andscarlet yarns, and fine twined linen.9 You shall take two onyx stones, andengrave on them the names of the sonsof Israel, 10 six of their names on the onestone, and the names of the remainingsix on the other stone, in the order oftheir birth. 11 As a jeweler engravessignets, so shall you engrave the twostones with the names of the sons ofIsrael. You shall enclose them insettings of gold filigree. 12 And you shallset the two stones on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, as stones ofremembrance for the sons of Israel.And iAaron shall bear their namesbefore the LORD on his two shouldersjfor remembrance. 13 You shall makesettings of gold filigree.
