Kangaroo Kids Child Care and Learning Center will host a free parent workshop on Wednesday, November 12th at 7:00 PM, open to families and community members with children from infancy through kindergarten.
The evening will focus on practical solutions to everyday challenges of raising children and help parents guide their child’s behavior with empathy, understanding, and consistency.
The featured speaker, Katelyn Cappello, MS ECE, IMH-E®, is a nationally recognized consultant and Supervisor of Coaching Practice at the Center for Early Relational Health
Workforce at Montclair State University. Katelyn specializes in early childhood mental health and trauma-informed, inclusive teaching practices. She has extensive experience
supporting teachers, families, and programs in creating nurturing, emotionally supportive environments for young children.
As a parent, you play an essential role in helping your child grow into a confident, capable, and compassionate individual. This workshop will provide tools and strategies to strengthen your relationship with your child, encourage cooperation, and prepare them for long-term success in school and in life.
The event is free to attend, and the community is warmly encouraged to participate. In lieu of an admission fee, attendees are asked to bring a canned food donation for the local food bank.
