Furry Friends @ the Somerset County 4-H Spring Carnival - 2025

Please visit Furry Friends Small Animal Club at the Somerset County 4-H Spring Carnival on Sunday, April 27th, 2025 from 11:00am-3:00pm to have fun playing games, crafts, meeting some of our animals, and learn more about our Furry Friends club, at the Ted Blum 4-H Center, 310 Milltown Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807!

Furry Friends accepts members from Kindergarten - 3rd Grade (Cloverbud/Prep Members) as well as members in 4th Grade - 13th Grade (One Year Out of High School).

In Furry Friends, 4-Hers learn the proper care and handling of rabbits and cavies (guinea pigs), as members strengthen their sense of responsibility as pet owners. There is an emphasis on proper animal handling, showmanship, preparing for a small animal show, public speaking and public education through community service. Members also learn about animal safety.

Our monthly club meeting date and time is the 2nd Monday in the Green Room at the Ted Blum 4-H Center. Cloverbud/Prep Members (K-3rd Grade) meet at 6:00pm, and 4-H Members (4th Grade-13th Grade) meet at 7:00pm!
