Sensory Friendly Open Swim

Goldfish Swim School - Braintree is excited to host a Sensory-Friendly Open Swim: a welcoming, low-stimulation event designed for children who thrive in a quieter, more comfortable environment.

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Goldfish Swim School - Braintree
$5 per person (pay in-person)
Reservations: First come, first served. Limited to 40 spots.

This swimsational special event will feature:

-Reduced noise levels for a calm atmosphere
-Smaller group sizes for a more relaxed experience
-Warm, shiver-free water at 90 degrees and a comfortable atmosphere
-Flexible participation—swim, float, or simply enjoy the water at your own pace
-Fun dry-side activities, including coloring pages, seashell painting, and sand art!

Families can enjoy open swim time in a safe, supportive space to explore and enjoy the water together. Whether your child is new to swimming or already loves the water, this event is all about fun, confidence-building and water safety – at their own pace! Parents and caregivers are welcome to join in the fun or relax poolside.

We encourage parents to bring along any toys, sensory tools, or comfort items their child may need to help them feel comfortable and have a great time during the event.

Please Note: Children 6 & under who do not pass our swim test must have a parent or caregiver in the pool with them (1 parent per child). A lifeguard can conduct a swim test upon arrival.
