Nikkah - Pop Up Opera at Darley Street Kitchen

In collaboration with Bradford Music Month & Bradford Opera Festival.

Nikkah is a brand-new opera by Kauser Mukhtar and Phillipa Jennings. Blending Punjabi folk music with Western classical tradition, it tells the story of a woman navigating the pull between her heart and society’s expectations, and performed in English and Punjabi.

Part of Bradford Opera Festival 2025 – bringing opera to unexpected places across the city. 🎶
