Our dear friend John Alderson sadly passed away on 19th September 2025. John had a lifelong love of motorbikes and treasured his ride outs and the camaraderie that came with them. Though not a himself, he had huge respect for the Armed Forces and uniformed services. A great animal lover, he was also dedicated to supporting service animals, helping to raise nearly a quarter of a million pounds through his involvement with a local charity.
On Friday 3rd October 2025, John will make his final journey. The funeral procession will leave the Harrogate Road area of Bradford (BD10) at 10:15am, making its way to Rawdon
if bikers could accompany the cortege to give him the ride out he so richly deserves. His family and friends are truly grateful for any support the biking community are able to give.
