Join Beehive Poets for the visit of Matt Nicholson.

Matt Nicholson is a passionate poet from East Yorkshire. He has recently published his 5th collection, 'Side-eye', on Yaffle press. A poet who thrives when he reads his poetry out loud, he has travelled all over this sometimes green and sometimes pleasant land to engage with audiences. Described by Helen Mort, as a poet who can “break your heart and mend it again” and by Ian Parks, as having an “eye for detail, an ear for the nuances of common speech, and a sharp awareness of social injustice” Matt is sure to work hard for The Beehive poets.
