History is Fun - Leather Pouch Making

Leather pouches were carried by many people in the 18th century. Whether it was a belt pouch or an over the shoulder pouch, leather pouches were an easy way for people to carry small items. This month kids will be making their own leather pouch that they can take home with them.

“History is Fun” is a FREE monthly program that engages children ages 5-12 with hands-on crafts, games, and activities to learn about 18th-century life.
