Every person has a unique balance of feminine and masculine energy and wisdom. These sacred energies live in each of us in personal, human and quite ordinary ways— whatever our gender identity may be. But we now live in a world in which the energy and wisdom of the feminine is not equally seen, valued or reflected. We are all impacted by this imbalance, as is absolutely everything in our world. When we consciously recognize and honor the sacred feminine energies in ourselves and in each other, we become part of the healing and rebalancing of our world. Julie Wester is a Spirit Rock Meditation Center Teacher Emerita. Her book, Recognizing the Sacred Feminine: Stories and Meditations for the Rebalancing of Our World, is available from Country Bookshelf in Bozeman and on Amazon.
