Join us for our first ever tumbling clinic hosted by Coach Lorena Castaneda!
Facts about Lorena:
-In gymnastics for 10 years and competed as a Level 9 gymnast
-Has been coaching for about 16 years
-Experience as a Director of both Xcel and Recreational Gymnastics
-Collegiate Cheerleader for California State University Long Beach for 4 years, as well as a 4-time National Champion
-Lorena currently owns and operates Flip Fusion
-FUN FACT: Lorena was an extra in the movie BRING IT ON!
Registration will open on Sunday, August 17th and close on Wednesday, September 10th!
Clinic Date: Sunday, September 14th
8:00 am-9:30 am: Limbers, Cartwheels and Roundoffs
No requirements
9:30 am-11:00 am: Walkovers
Must have a front limber and back bend
11:00 am-12:30 pm: Handsprings
Must have a back walkover
12:30pm-2:00pm: Tucks, layouts and beyond
Must have a back handspring
Location: Sokol Gymnastics 3636 S. 144th St. Omaha, NE 68144 in the main south gym on the left entrance. This is a closed clinic with no parents or spectators permitted.
There is also no limit to how many clinics your athlete can sign up for if they meet the requirement! Each clinic is $85 each. No refunds will be given if your athlete registers and does not attend.
