About the Evening
The Series at Lavender Hill Farm is a live music concert series held in our beautifully renovated, multi-use barn, starring some of the best talent from across the United States and beyond. The bands are carefully selected to represent a wide array of music styles and bring an unexpected variety to Northern Michigan. Guests arrive early and enjoy picnicking with friends on our lawn overlooking fields of lavender. Our venue, built-in 1920, has been skillfully adapted with historic theater seating, lighting, sound and stage. We hope that you enjoy your time on our farm and welcome you to make The Series at Lavender Hill Farm a summer tradition!

• Picnicking is welcome before shows beginning at 5:30pm.
• Local Ground outdoor performances are from 6-7pm.
• Theater doors open after 6pm.
• Main stage shows begin at 7:30pm.
• Lawn seats are for your listening pleasure and do not have a view of the main stage. BYO CAMP CHAIR.

About the Band
Enjoy songs about prison graveyards, flea market beauty queens, broken hearts, turmoil, and other people’s faults? Well, look no further Friends, the Hackwells are exactly what you need! Sun’s Memphis, Tootsie’s Nashville and a dash of 70’s AM Radio, all delivered with a little Detroit swagger!
Remember, they would never try to sell ya a hot dog they wouldn’t eat themselves! And That Neighbors, is the Hackwell Promise!
The Hackwells love a song that delivers, is good to the ear, from the heart, and great with friends!
Covering many originals and select “Hack-quefied” tunes from all places, they have been active around many of Michigan’s festivals and venues.

STEEL & WOOD is a traditional bluegrass band based in Petoskey. Members include John A. Neiswander of Petoskey on lead guitar and vocals, Irene Kazmers of Petoskey on fiddle, guitar and vocals, Dave Eggebrecht of Eastport on mandolin and fiddle, Paul Bachleda of Bay City, Higgns Lake and Petoskey on banjo, and John Belfy of Wolverine on upright bass.
