Create a one-of-a-kind naturally dyed scarf using botanicals from your home or the farm! Jasmine Lace of Howl at the Loom will lead you through using leaves, flowers, and metal to create beautiful eco-prints on fabric.
Workshop includes all instructions and supplies necessary to utilize this technique. Students will also explore the hammering method of transferring botanical prints to fabric and will receive an informational handout, one lightweight scarf to dye, and a cotton swatch for experimenting.
This workshop is $70 per person for ages 10 and over.
All supplies are provided but optional items that you might choose to bring include Gloves, an apron, scissors, and a plastic bag or two to take your dyed goods home in. Participants should dress for mess!
Tickets can be purchased online or at the farm. Pre-Registration is required. Tickets are available for purchase up until 48 hours prior or until sold out.

About the Instructor
Jasmine is a lifelong resident of Northern Michigan and has been practicing natural dyes for over ten years. She has taught many fiber art workshops in the area and has studied facets of natural dye under Shanna Robinson, India Flint, and Elin Noble. Jasmine is also an avid weaver and finds expression for her enthusiasm of local fiber arts as a board member for the Tip of the Mitt Fiber Fair.
