Tree Planting Dedication

Oak Group Planting Area, Virginia State Arboretum
(The location is on Wilkins Lane toward the back of the
property adjacent to the “Bamboo Forest”. Parking near
the site is limited. Alternate parking is available in the
front field. Directional signs will be placed to lead you
to the site on foot from the front field.)
NSVAS is celebrating 50 years of wildlife conservation in the northern Shenandoah Valley and YOU'RE invited! In honor of this momentous occasion, we will be donating a beautiful Willow Oak to be planted in the Virginia State Arboretum at Blandy Experimental Farm. In addition to the tree planting ceremony, guests will enjoy an informative talk about the Willow Oak tree as well as the history of our Audubon Chapter. This event is FREE; no registration required. There will be no formal seating as the event is outdoors - you may wish to bring your own chair. All ages welcome!
