Join me for a hands-on weaving workshop that brings together creativity, mindfulness, and connection.
In this three-hour session, you’ll learn how to work with the beautiful Bangalow Palm inflorescences — a natural, sculptural material that we’ll use to create a unique woven form.
I’ll guide you through how to harvest and prepare the material, followed by an introduction to basketry and random weave techniques. No prior experience is needed — just a willingness to explore and try something new.
As you focus on the process, you'll naturally begin to slow down, tune into your surroundings, and connect with your own intuition. It’s a chance to take a break from the noise of daily life and find calm through making.
By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a beautiful piece that reflects your personal journey — and a deeper appreciation for working with natural materials.
All materials are provided. Just bring yourself and an open mind.
Heading home you will have created a sculptural piece you created using your hands, your imagination and your ancestral memories.
