The Transcendence of Poetry

SPEAKERS - Tim McGaughey and Roxanne Spencer

Poetry, at its best, is a distillation of experience. Hence, it is an excellent medium to explore transcendence, reframing experiences from the mundane into the spiritual. Roxanne and Tim will explore how this happens in some of their favorite poetry and will lead the congregation into writing their own poetry.
