Jeff Usher/Martin Kay Quartet

Jeff Usher’s Forty Years of Jazz Series at JMI Live resumes with a performance by the Jeff Usher/Martin Kay Quartet.

Dr Martin Kay is one of Australia’s most accomplished alto saxophonists, with a formidable reputation as a teacher and performer in jazz and classical music, including his work with the Australian Saxophone Quartet. Jeff and Martin have worked together since the early nineties, including the award-winning album, ‘From Leaps to Bounds’, released in 1997.

For this performance, they will be backed by bassist Nick Maskell and drummer Joe Rutledge.
