Words for Wellbeing + Poole Lighthouse – Our Freedom: Then & Now Session

Words for Wellbeing will be returning to Bournemouth Library in October 2025, with an extra special session on Thursday 9th October, where we’ll be joined by Poole Lighthouse for a free workshop on the theme of ‘Freedom’, as part of the Our Freedom: Then & Now project. Our Freedom: Then & Now is a new UK-wide arts and creative programme reflecting on what 'Freedom' means to people and their communities, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. There will be an installation at the Lighthouse from November, and if you come along to this workshop, your writing could be a part of it!

This session will be hosted by C.W. Blackburn, and led by a project facilitator in conjunction with Poole Lighthouse.
