Both Jake and Connor are incredibly talented and proficient guitarists from Bournemouth, and on Thursday, they have prepared a very special show for your delight. A never seen before collaboration and exclusive to The Overcliff Pub, this one-of-a-kind instrumental guitar event is guaranteed to leave you with unforgettable memories and a head full of melodies and atmospheric vibes for the weeks to come. A very special night indeed and not to be missed.
Jake Puntis is a renowned finger picking acoustic instrumentalist whom is highly regarded as one of the greatest guitarists in the Dorset and the south of England, his style and technique is mesmerising, melodic and awe inspiring. His performances are always leaving the crowd in adoration and wanting more. Jake has performed at many venues around the country and even more festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown, Pubeck valley and many more. Awards aplenty for this very talented musician, and all-around adorable human.
Connor Ryan is a local legend. Lead guitarist of the band Free Foundation, Host of the regular Sunday Jam sessions at notorious local music venue Chaplin’s and the Cellar Bar, Connor is an insatiable musician that you might also encounter around the city practicing his own music on the crowd. Connor performs atmospheric covers and originals in his own style on electric guitar with added effects. His performances are always packed with emotion, fun and energy. Also regarded as one of the greatest guitarists in the area, his playing is guaranteed to move your hearts and souls. Connor has played at all the local Festivals but also performed at large music events and other larger festivals such as Boomtown, Purbeck Valley and many more. His credentials as a master guitarist have never been questioned.
This night is a first of its kind and specially organised for The Overcliff pub. Both Jake and Connor will play one of their own sets, and finish the night by playing a set together! This promises to be a truly memorable experience and it would be a real shame to miss it.
