The Next Blues Band was formed in 1991 by Chicago native Bill Bouchard after his arrival in Monterey, California. The band has been delivering their brand of Blues around the Central Coast from San Jose to Santa Barbara for over 20 years. Performing in clubs and at concerts such as, Monterey Blues Festival, and Seaside's Blues in the Park. Bill's first introduction to the Blues came to him while attending college in Chicago in the early '70's. While hanging out in local Blue's clubs, Bill was exposed to some amazing legends, such as Howlin' Wolf, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, and many more. For Bill, this developed his true love and passion for the Blues.
