Shabbat in the City - Creating Our Class with Igor Golyak

Our first Shabbat in the City of 2025 comes to The Vilna on May 16! Come meet your downtown neighbors (and neighbors across the state!) and share a relaxing and uplifting evening.

What to Know: Arlekin Players Theater Artistic Director Igor Golyak traveled to Poland before mounting his production of Our Class, a powerful show about humanity playing in Boston, June 13-20. Join us for a special Shabbat In the City with Igor for an insider's look at this process, elevated by the beautiful Vilna Shul whose walls and story amplify the messages of the show.

Igor will share words during Shabbat services, led by The Vilna’s own Rabbi Elyse Winick. After dinner, Igor will share the emotional story of developing this show, what this run will look like, and what he hopes it will inspire.
