Engr. Kat Usop is an award-winning digital health innovator specializing in gamification models within healthcare, particularly in disease management, consumer health, and precision medicine. With diverse experience in research, development, and management of medical devices and new health technologies, she has contributed to gamified virtual workspaces for surgical training, wearable biomedical data management, and the development of gamified mental health platforms. As an educator and entrepreneur, she shares her expertise in gamification, design thinking, and data science in health, and co-founded ventures like Momentum, Klinikum Institute and GINA Health, while also engaging in global initiatives focused on technology for disaster relief.
Currently, Engr. Kat serves as Innovation advisor to the board of a hospital network of 70+ clinics and 5+ tertiary hospital in the ASEAN region.
