Meeting Loneliness Together

We’re proud to support Marmalade Trust this #LonelinessAwarenessWeek – 9 to 15 June. This year's theme,
MeetingLonelinessTogether, encourages everyone to speak about loneliness to reduce the stigma around
this natural human emotion.

The ninth Loneliness Awareness Week hosted by Marmalade Trust is taking
place across the world from 9 - 15 June, and this year the theme is Meeting
Loneliness Together.
Loneliness is a natural human emotion - we are hardwired to need social
connections. This year the week will focus on reducing the stigma surrounding
loneliness by creating supportive communities where people can have open,
honest conversations.

Our care home would like to extend a warm welcome to all in our local community to pop in for a 'Cuppa and Cake' during the week 9th to 15th June either 10.30am to 11:30am or in the afternoon 3pm to 4pm. If you would like to come and meet our residents, have a chat and :)make new friends then please do pop in and see us :)
