We are excited to bring the Trail Running Film Festival to the Boston area on Sunday, May 18! The Boston screening is co-hosted by Latino Outdoors Boston and the Trail Animals Running Club (TARC).

📅 Date: Sunday, May 18th, starting at 4:30 p.m. SHARP
🎥 What: Shake out run + Trail Running Film Fest –Spanish subtitles available!!!
📍 Where: Rounhead Brewing Company in Boston.

Agenda:

• ~3 miles social run at 4:30 p.m. –It is ok if you can only attend the film screening, but YOU NEED an Eventbrite ticket to do so! If you only attend the run you can't later join the screening unless you have an Eventbrite ticket.
• Film screening starting at 5:30 p.m. and wrapping up by 7:30 p.m.

The film festival entails six short documentaries ranging from 5 minutes to 33 minutes, featuring inspiring stories from the global trail running community. We will also be giving away some awesome prizes at intermission!

Latino Outdoors Boston is a chapter of Latino Outdoors, a nonprofit whose mission is to inspire, connect, and engage Latino communities in the outdoors and embrace cultura y familia as part of the outdoor narrative.

The Trail Animals Running Club is a nonprofit in the Greater Boston region that hosts free group runs and low cost events and aims to act as community stewards by providing equitable access to trail running and promoting positive trail running culture.

The mission of the Trail Running Film Fest is to celebrate running as a universal practice, to explore our collective and individual potential, and to pursue our wildest dreams. The film festival creators accomplish this by documenting the culture of trail running, supporting filmmakers and creatives, and hosting events that bring our community together. We are committed to promoting inclusivity, adventure, wilderness, art, and diversity across the trail and ultra community.

Latino Outdoors activities are free and in service to our communities. Our volunteer leaders donate time and energy to plan these experiences, paying close attention to the number of people each event can accommodate. Please only register if you are able to join and honor your reservation. If you are unable to attend an event that you signed up for, please cancel preferably one week prior and no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled outing, so that another community member may participate and volunteer organizers can plan accordingly. Your consideration helps keep these experiences meaningful and accessible. We appreciate you!
