Throughout the 20 Questions celebration we’re inviting artists, activists, and academics to join us as “witnesses in residence.” As witnesses we are asking them to help us see below the surface or behind the public face of our work. We are asking them to look at and with the archive to illuminate the deeper patterns of the studio’s work and to connect it to the wider social, cultural, and political moment.
