Dancing in the Street- Motown & Classic R&B – Yeah baby! Are you down with the funky tunes of the 50s, 60s and 70s? You know, that foot-stompin, hand-clappin rhythm and blues and classic soul music that makes you wanna jump outta your seat and get your groove on? Do you remember those cool cat doo-wop groups and dudes singing harmony on the corner like a bunch of crazy cats? Music that had you singing along and dancing in the streets like nobody’s watching, or like nobody’s judging you for your killer dance moves. If you like to snap your fingers, tap your feet and get your groove on, then come on out and belt out your best classic R&B or Motown tune, or just come out and make a total fool of yourself, we won’t judge. And if you’re not the next American Idol, no worries, just come out and enjoy a 45-minute mini concert featuring the charismatic, powerful baritone Gordon Michaels followed by the open mic portion of the night with the amazing Michael Larson on piano and the fabulous regular Napoleon Room singers. We’re talkin all Motown and Classic R&B, all night long, because who needs sleep when you can dance the night away?
