Community Meeting To Honor Boston Native Former WNBA Player Michelle Edwards

Join us Wednesday May 28th at 6pm to learn more about our Honor Her initiative for Boston’s own Michelle Edwards, one of the first women to play in the WNBA. We are seeking to add her name to the Titus Sparrow Park basketball court a space where she honed her skills as youth in the South-end. Representation is immensely important for our health. Representation can reduce stigma, increase belonging, and foster empathy. That’s why it’s more important than ever to honor our local heroes.
