Can’t Erase Queer/Trans History: Presentation and Panel Discussion
Join us for an evening of reflection, resilience, and remembrance as we honor the legacy of LGBTQIA2S+ communities in Boston and beyond — at a time when queer and trans people are being actively targeted by lawmakers across the country, and where our lives, rights, and histories are increasingly being erased from public life and the historical record.
The evening will begin with a brief presentation highlighting pivotal moments in LGBTQIA2S+ history, touching on national milestones and local movements that have shaped life in Boston for generations.
We’ll then turn to a dynamic panel discussion featuring community members who have lived through — and helped shape — Boston’s LGBTQIA2S+ history. Hear firsthand accounts of activism, community care, resistance, and joy in the face of ongoing efforts to silence and erase us.
Together, we affirm that our stories matter. They won’t be erased.
