Take a pause on your busy summer schedule, and join us for a look back at life on Boston's historic Beacon Hill at the turn of the 20th Century. Hear stories about the Nichols family — and the art colony where they went to escape the city heat. Step out of time and see the house bathed in summer evening light!
The Nichols House Museum on Boston's historic Beacon Hill was home to an early 20th-century family of artists and social activists. Preserved as a museum by Rose Standish Nichols, a pioneering woman landscape architect, the house is furnished with an original collection, including sculpture by Augustus Saint-Gaudens.
The Museum is across three floors and is only accessible by stairs. The building is air conditioned.
