8-16-25 La Blues Red River Pool 5 Catfish Tournament
Tournament and Tournament registration will be handled in TourneyX app. Just search La blues in the tournament registration section.
Fishing must be in pool 5 only of Red River.
You may fish from the up stream side of the lock to the Arkansas line. As well as 12 mile bayou to caddo lake dam
You may trailer but must attend captains meeting 1 hr prior to tournament start time. At Arthur Teague Marina
You must not fish within 100 feet of another competitor.
3 person max per team.
Rod and Reel only.
8 rod max.
No snagging.
No gaffing.
12” minimum length.
All legal bait is allowed
Life vest and K*ll switch must be worn while on plane.
All competitors must follow all state and federal, wildlife and fisheries, boating, and navigation rules and regulations.
5 fish limit. (Blue, Flat head, Channel Catfish only)
Fish will be measured in inches and released unless you chose to Harvest.
Measurements will be recorded paper tape or bump board.
Tournament identifier tag number must be in photo.
All fish must be certified in the app with a full photo proving full fish and full length and location will be checked to ensure all competitors follow all tournament water limitations.
Big fish pot is included in the entry fee.
Must cover your own boat launching fee.
You may trailer to these available launch sites.
Launches allowable- Red river south marina, Bishops point Marina, Aurther Teague Parkway, Stoner Boat launch, HWY 2 bridge Plain Dealing LA. Soda lake wildlife management area.
Captains meeting 3:00 PM all registration will be paid here ($100)
Tournament starts first cast at 4:00 PM
All Lines in at 12:00 AM
12:30 AM meet back at Arthur Teague Parkway Marina.
All fish must be submitted 12:45, If not you will be disqualified.
If you do not present location verification in your app you will be disqualified.
Guaranteed 2 placement payment and 1 additional placement payment for every 10 teams. Rates are based on 10 teams and remaining is TBD based on entry.
1st 50% pot.
2nd 25% pot.
Big fish 25% pot.
Big fish tie breaker will be judged by the second biggest fish and or third biggest so on and so forth until the tie is broken
