Multnomah Grange #71 kicks off its 2025-26 music season on Saturday, Sept 13 with two exceptional bands: Sunny South and Slipshod.
Sunny South is a dynamic and well known bluegrass band from the metro Portland area, featuring Mike Stahlman on banjo, Nancy Padilla on fiddle, Steve Reischman on guitar, Dee Johnson on bass, and Dave Elliott on mandolin. Sunny South has played together in various configurations for over 30 years, bringing fiery instrumentals and tight harmonies to every show.
Also on the stage that evening is Slipshod, a talented duo blending vocals, dynamic instrumentals, and humor. Slipshod features Matt Snook on dobro and banjo, and Steve Blanchard on guitar and mandolin. Another amazing band!
Folks are welcome to come early, when the doors open at 6pm, to join an informal jam in the Grange lobby. The concert starts at 7pm.
