Description: Prepare for the unexpected with the Modern Wilderness Survival Course at Hollercraft Academy—a hands-on, immersive training experience designed to equip you with the essential skills to survive and thrive in the wild. Whether you're a weekend hiker, outdoor enthusiast, or emergency preparedness advocate, this course provides practical, modern techniques grounded in real-world survival situations.
What You’ll Learn:
✅ Shelter Making – Build reliable, weather-resistant shelters using natural materials and basic tools. Learn location selection, insulation techniques, and rapid-deployment tarp systems.
✅ Fire Building – Master several methods of fire ignition, including ferro rods, flint and steel, and natural tinder sources. Understand fire lays for different needs: cooking, warmth, and signaling.
✅ Water Sanitization – Identify safe water sources and learn how to purify water using modern filtration, boiling, and chemical treatment techniques.
✅ Signaling for Help – Explore both primitive and modern signaling methods, including signal mirrors, emergency smoke signals, improvised flags, and digital backup tools like PLBs and phone-based location markers.
