Matt Venuti is a national touring artist and award-winning multi-instrumentalist/composer. He’s known for creating soul-stirring acoustic and electronic music with up to 12 innovative instruments and a looping device. Most of Matt’s instruments are groundbreaking that he was among the very first to explore. Some of these include the amazingly versatile Electronic Valve Instrument (EVI) wind synthesizer, the Hangs, which are the inspiration that led to Handpans, and the newly created, harmonically expansive Waves instruments. He also uses an array of large Himalayan Bowls that were prudently curated for their compatibility and profound effect.
Matt’s original Music and Sound Alchemy events merge the essential elements of sound-bath immersion/journeys with a masterful and inspiring musicality. Matt’s decades of experience as a “sculptor” of music and sound have honed his intuitive receptivity for feeling energy and responding to it through his instruments.
