Queensland Cross Country Relay Championships

TRAQ are calling any and all interested Members to join us for the upcoming Cross Country Relay Championships, to be held at Nudgee College Nundah.

Venue: St Joesph’s Nudgee College
Times: Opens Women 1:50pm, Open Men 2:35pm, Masters Women and Men 3:20pm
Cost: NO COST - all TRAQ team entry fees will be sponsored by TRAQ

Last year we entered four teams and it was a real hoot!! We would love to grow on that this year - we can put you in a team or you can bring your own group of friends to make up a team. There is a place for any pace - do you NOT need to be fast!

There are a few finer regulations around the relays but the basics are:
- teams are made up of three Athletes within the same category (gender - M/F & age - Open, Masters 30+ and 50+) completing 1 x 3km loop each of a cross country course
- one female athlete may compete in a male team, however male athletes cannot compete in female teams
- masters age groups are calculated using the athlete’s age on the day of the Championships, athletes aged 50+ may compete in a 30+ team or an Open age group team
- teams must be made up of Members from the same club which means that you will need to be a TRAQ Member
- you can compete in more than one relay race (eg. Opens and Masters) but unfortunately you cannot compete for more than one club on the day
