Welcome to Rosewell Gong Bath!
Lasswade and Rosewell Parish Church, Carnethie Street, Rosewell, Midlothian, EH24 9AH
We will focus on feeling into the Summer vibe through the power of therapeutic sound with a cleansing blend from a sun gong and symphonic gong 7-8.30pm on Monday 7th July 2025.
Our session will begin with a gentle guided meditation using words and sounds to support our bodies, minds and senses to relax and ease tension into a comfortable position laying down (seating can be an option if required). Following this a combination of meditative sounds will combine from tsingshaws, singing bowls, shruti box, two beautifully resonating gongs, mantra and voice. This gong bath will encourage us to surrender to the continued efforts of what we cultivate for fruits to ripen and flowers to flourish.
Therapeutic sound can relieve stress, reduce tension, physical pain, help ease the mind to a point of clarity or a sense of feeling 're-set'. It is known to elevate moods to a positive state and boost general well-being. Frequently people have reported to having a great nights sleep after! To receive the sound experience it is best to lay on the floor however if you feel this is not possible for you please let Melissa know upon booking or prior to the event:

Reviews from attendees:
'Thank you again, I feel really refreshed and energised. I’m from Luxembourg visiting my sister and she treated me to Melissa’s sound bath. It was the most amazing experience, especially at this special time of year between Samhain and All Saints’ Day. I would highly recommend her.'
“For the last 6 months I have regularly been attending sound baths at Stenton Village Hall. Over that time both my mental and physical health have improved and I would not hesitate in saying that these exquisite and deeply moving evenings have contributed to this improvement.
Melissa has a beautiful soul which is shared with us all through her incredible gift. Her soothing voice combined with the other instruments leads to a truly relaxing, profound and remarkable experience. “ Lesley-Ann. K.
