HA is a radiophonic sound forest created by Roberto Paci Dalò from the real voice of Hannah Arendt intertwined with instrumental and electronic sounds. A sensorial journey in her phonetics where words are transformed into cartographical sonic materials. A cinematic and experimental approach where, however, even complex materials are organized in a radio composition accessible to all audiences.
A long and laborious work of composition and editing has transformed Arendt’s voice into a grid, a map, an acoustic immersive architecture made up of many micro cells of a few seconds each. Every one with its own parameters (volume, reverb, spatialisation, etc.) in order to create an always moving dynamic multi layers radio composition.

Roberto Paci Dalò is an Italian author, director, composer, artist, and curator. He leads the performing arts ensemble and cultural space Giardini Pensili (Rimini) and presents his projects worldwide in biennials, museums, theatres, festivals. John Cage, Aleksander Sokurov, Giorgio Agamben, and Giya Kancheli appreciated and supported his work. Roberto is an Expert of the European Commission (arts, science, technology) and collaborates with the New European Bauhaus project. He teaches Exhibit & Experience Design at UNIRSM where he is founding director of Usmaradio – Research Centre for Radiophonic Studies and artistic director of the TACTUS and BIOMA festivals. His last book is “eBAU. Art Dreams for the New European Bauhaus” (Quodlibet, 2024).
