Alexander's Jazz Time Band fall concert

Come on and hear! Alexander's Jazz Time Band will be giving its fourth annual fall concert at The First Parish of Bolton on Saturday November 1st 2025. Our program will feature an assortment of dance-band arrangements from 1924-1932 including familiar standards such as "Star Dust" and "After You've Gone" as well as lesser-known gems such as Willard Robison's folksy "We'll Have a New Home (In the Mornin')" and a multi-strain instrumental blues by Roy Bargy entitled "Get Lucky." 

Alexander's Jazz Time Band is an eleven-piece ensemble modeled on the "hot dance bands" of the 1920's and early 1930's. Our programs feature toe-tapping renditions of popular tunes and jazz compositions from the Roaring Twenties all in authentic period arrangements.
