Meet Linda Sollars and the first Sling High Wing

On Thursday July 17 we will have a very special guest. Linda Sollars is coming to visit us in her custom built Sling High Wing! She will give a presentation about the adventure of building her plane and flying it across the Atlantic ocean.

Sling is a company in South Africa that designs modern airplanes. Their signature is flying their aircraft around the world - a true testament to the quality and reliability of their designs.
When they announced the release of the High Wing model, Linda jumped at the opportunity to become the first customer. She built the plane in Africa, and upon completion they flew a formation of three airplanes from South Africa to AirVenture at Oshkosh, making for a grand arrival.

Join us on Thursday July 17. The presentation is at 7 pm at the Illinois Aviation Museum. But you want to come a little earlier: at 6 pm Linda will be showing her airplane and answering questions.
