Join traveling drummers Andrew Ecker and Monica Patton of Drumming Sounds for a fun, interactive hand drumming experience in the park! Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to deepen your rhythm skills, this class is designed to help you grow your language of percussion in a supportive and welcoming space.
🪘 What to Expect:
Learn the basics: bass, tone, and slap
Explore fun rhythm games and groove theory
Play with simple and odd meter beats
Discover the art of soloing and communication in drum circles
1-hour class followed by up to 1 hour of open jamming!
🎵 Drums provided (while supplies last)
🪑 Please bring a chair if you can — we’ll have a few benches available.
🌟 All are welcome – especially beginners to intermediate players!
