Fridays on the Farm at Spaulding Ranch

Calling all urban farmers, avid gardeners, and conservation-minded folks to join us in a brand new series of hands-on workshops at the Spaulding Ranch park property in Boise. These opportunities bring farmers and educators together for a morning of experiential training, right in the field, on a variety of topics relevant to both small acreages and small city lots. Explore the wonders of Spaulding Ranch, network with other like-minded individuals, and learn new skills you can apply at home on your own.

Our next workshop, Tending Your Living Soil, is Friday, May 30 from 9-12. In this workshop, you will learn to assess key indicators of soil health, find balance between production and environmental conservation, see management strategies demonstrated on-site, and take-home tools for assessing and improving soil health anywhere.
